The Perfect Streaming App for TVHeadend: dream Player
Dream Player for TVHeadend is an Android application that enables you to stream Live TV, movies, and radio shows directly from your TVHeadend server to your mobile phone or tablet. With this app, you can watch both SD and HD channels, listen to radio channels, play recorded movies, and enjoy other exciting features.
The app has a timeline and magazine feature that makes it easy to browse through the channels and shows available on your TVHeadend server. You can also view picons/channel logos, zap channels in Live TV mode or swipe left or right to the next/previous channel, and quickly forward and rewind in movie mode using the seek bar or buttons.
Dream Player for TVHeadend also supports subtitles, aspect ratio changes, and swipe up and down to control volume/brightness. You can even play audio in the background, and the app has a window mode that shows video in a small resizable window.
The app's premium version allows you to download movies and watch them offline. Additionally, you can use dream Player for TVHeadend as a media player to play local files. The app requires a TVHeadend server (version 4.2 and above is recommended) to function.
